Pura Vida Dancing is an invitation to explore our greatest potential of self-expression and vitality, dancing our mind, body and spirit free to rhythms from around the world.

 Pura Vida Dancing is a form of action oriented meditation/visualization, calling upon life enhancing qualities of being to move and lead our bodies in dance, i.e. calling upon the experience of gratitude, celebration, courage, strength of purpose, celebrating victories, dancing the elements, embracing the full spectrum of living, pain with joy. Pura Vida is an outlet to expend built up 'negative/constricting energy and generate new positive/expansive energy, moving through the challenges we all face in life- realizing in every moment we have the power of creative choice to wield pain to knowledge, challenges to opportunities, therefore bringing forth our life energy into full movement.

The greatest potential we have to fulfill of most consequence in our lives is to love, love ourselves and each other, heal old wounds and create goodness from them. Expanding, creating and re-creating ourselves in greater joy, love and empowerment. When life wisdoms are embodied through movement and dance it is integrated at a much deeper level and that body memory is easier to call upon when needed then a simple mental notion.

There is nothing in nature that doesn't face adversarial forces in its growth- challenges are an important element for evolution.  We too are nature; we are also intelligent as is nature. To know this gives us leverage to utilize all circumstances to grow and know ourselves better. Pura Vida invites and supports that innate intelligence to be nourished and to grow. So come and play, dance and explore all the possibilities of you and your unique gift to this world.

No experience is needed, just a willingness to dance barefoot and genuinely express oneself.
